Blue Skies Inn

Blue Skies Inn is located streamside on the wooded 1871 estate of the founder of Manitou Springs. A small community nestled at the base of Pikes Peak, this little city was a stopping point on the route of Western exploration. Wagon trains heading to mountain mining camps were pulled by oxen that travelled the road on which the inn is built. The bed and breakfast inn itself is a little village of Gothic revival architecture. The features of the ancient Carriage House, now a wedding chapel and gathering space, inspired the appearance of the three B & B buildings. They hold ten three-room suites which were playfully painted by an artist, all decorated on a slightly different theme. Suites feature luxurious private bathrooms with spacious tiled showers, soaking tubs or Jacuzzis. Some suites have gas fireplaces and all suites feature a private sitting room for breakfasting or quiet reading. Private or semi-private entrances and double-wall construction with sound insulation ensure that your stay with us is undisturbed. We welcome children since we`re sound insulated and very private. Our grounds feature lawns, flower gardens, shady patios, a charming gazebo with giant hot tub open to the stars, and hillsides covered with hundred year-old scrub oak.
