Baked Grapefruit Alaska

Makes 4 ServingsIngredients:
- 4 Grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 egg whites
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Instructions:

Mix grapefruit with sugar and vanilla.

Place in 4 heat proof ramekins.

Place a scoop of ice cream over the fruit.

Mix whites with beater until stiff, add powdered sugar.

Use meringue to cover the ice cream and grapefruit.

Place in hot oven (450) for about 5 minutes or until light brown on top. Serve immediately.
