Rest Assured ... with the Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers of Colorado
Why do we inspect and approve each BBIC member inn?
The Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers of Colorado (BBIC) provide the assurance that your B&B stay will be one of quality and comfort. Our State Association requires every member inn to be professionally inspected and approved.
BBIC's independent inspectors Rex and Karla Hefferan, are thorough in scope, covering safety and security, as well as appearance, comfort, and cleanliness. Food preparation, amenities, and administrative items are also evaluated as part of the on-site inspection process.
"Each member inn is required to undergo a thorough inspection every three years to ensure compliance with our association standards", says Ron Pijut, President of BBIC. "This gives our guests the assurance of knowing that BBIC member inns will automatically deliver a consistently clean, comfortable and professional experience".
BBIC inns will have important safety items including emergency lights, fire extinguishers, posted exits and locks on guest room doors. You'll also be assured of clean rooms with adequate amenities for your comfort. Our inspections also cover kitchen cleanliness.
BBIC inns operate in a professional manner, offering written confirmations, helpful assistance, posted hours, and referrals to help you in your travels.
The BBIC State Guide has a listing of our inspected and approved inns. They come in many shapes and sizes (one to nineteen rooms), throughout the state. We pride our membership on providing a quality stay. We assure your rest will be assured.
