Blackberry Buttermilk Buckwheat Waffles

  • 1 1/2 cups whole buckwheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk waffle/pancake mix
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces frozen balckberries or blueberries (blended with 1 1/2 cups of water )


  1. Mix up buckwheat flour, buttermilk mix, milk eggs, and olive oil with a whisk. Blend frozen berries and 1 1/2 cups of water in blender and then add to mix. Blackberry Buttermilk Waffle mix will last up to one week in the refrigerator.

  2. Toppings: Honey, Maple Syrup, Blueberry syrup, Fresh Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, pine nuts and of course Whipped Cream.
