TWO SISTERS AND THEIR JOHN CELEBRATE 100 YEARS! The Two Sisters Inn – a bed and breakfast in Manitou Springs, Colorado is proud to announce that starting on November 22, 2005 they will be celebrating the 100th birthday of their L.Wolff Manf’g. Co. Capax toilet. The festivities will begin with a Ceremonial Ascent to the Throne and a Royal Flush! Throughout the year, the Inn’s Cottage guests will be "privy" to the opportunity of being seated on this historically-dated porcelain sculpture where they can enjoy some quiet time in "loo" of a rip-roaring adventure. Each guest will receive a souvenir of their memorable seating. On November 22, 2006 there will be a birthday bash. The L. Wolff Manf’g. Co. was founded in 1895 in Chicago, Illinois. It went bankrupt after the Great Depression. Each toilet had the actual date it was manufactured debossed into the vitreous china bowl. These commodes are rare finds. Dates: November 22, 2005 through November 22, 2006. Cost: The cost of a stay in the cottage is $125 plus tax per night (2 night minimum is required) and a 3-course gourmet breakfast is included.
