Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers of Colorado Association (BBIC) recently announced the 2004 17th Annual Conference to be held at the Pueblo Convention Center in Pueblo, Colorado. The plans for the conference look to be the most exciting yet. November 7th through November 8th, bed & breakfast innkeepers from all over the state and aspiring innkeepers will meet to partake in workshops, food and fun!

On Sunday, November 7th, the Aspiring Innkeepers Day-"Making the Transition Innto Innkeeping" will feature seasoned bed and breakfast innkeepers/consultants. Would-be and newly established innkeepers will learn from a variety of topics encompassing the bed and breakfast innkeeping business. Topics will include: Introduction to the B&B Industry, Business Planning, Daily Operations, Marketing Tips, Business and Policies, and Preparing for Success. The Aspiring Innkeepers’ seminar will include a take home workbook. Special rates to attend the entire conference will be given to aspiring day attendees.

On November 8th, The Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers of Colorado (BBIC) 17th Annual Conference gets underway. BBIC President, Trip Butler, says, "We’re really excited about this year’s meeting. The conference will feature well-known speakers who will be there to offer their expertise and experience. Monday’s presentations will include marketing and business topics. The keynote luncheon will be, "The Future of Colorado Tourism", presented by the Colorado Tourism Office’s marketing firm, Praco.

In conjunction with the conference, the Colorado state association, Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers of Colorado, will also hold their annual business meeting. Costs will vary based on dates of attendance. Write or call for more information.
