Situated in the San Juan Mountains where
peaks reach 14,000 feet, the views are astounding. Whatever the season,
there are various activities to pursue. Summer activities include
four-wheeling, hiking, fishing, biking and horseback riding. Winter activities
include cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating and ice climbing in a
"winter wonderland". The Spring and Fall seasons also have plenty to
offer. There are many shops, galleries, and restaurants for guests to enjoy. A
soak in the Ouray Natural Hot Springs Pool under the sun or stars is a must.
